Zul­fahmi still rid­ing on hope

“We have to put this all be­hind us and come back fight­ing, that is my aim.”

Last week­end was filled with tri­als and tribu­la­tions for Zul­fahmi who was forced to watch the fi­nal race from the garage as his Kawasaki bike suf­fered me­chan­i­cal is­sues.

Team man­ager Gi­ulio Bardi said: “We are not sure what went wrong with Zul­fahmi’s bike, but we’ll find out when we get back to our work­shop.”

With only seven rounds left, for­mer Moto3 rider Zul­fahmi will still aim to fin­ish the sea­son in the top five, as he hopes to make his way back into the Mo­toGP arena.

The 25-year-old, who suf­fered from a mild case of arm pump, or Chronic Ex­er­tional Com­part­ment Syn­drome (CECS) two weeks ago, will com­pete in round six on May 26-28 in the United Kingdom.
