- TAN SRI A.K. NATHAN

KUALA LUMPUR: Eversendai Corp Bhd has clinched projects worth RM557.6 million since early last month, bringing the total of jobs won so far this year to RM1.3 billion.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Eversendai said one of the prominent projects secured was with Piramal Realty, the property development arm of India’s conglomerate, Piramal Group.

The ultra-modern Piramal Revanta project is seen as the next referral icon in the Mumbai skyline. It is in addition to five other projects the group has secured in India amounting to RM356.9 million.

The other projects include a residential development, a startup incubator complex for entrepreneurs and an office building project.

The remaining RM200.7 million worth of project wins came from the group’s stronghold in the Middle East.

Some of the key projects it has secured in the Middle East are for the construction of a museum, an office tower and a metro station.

“India continues to be a focal point for the Eversendai group. We are continuously establishing ourselves as a niche steel contractor for highly complex landmark projects,” said executive chairman and group managing director Tan Sri A.K. Nathan.
