IWC queried over unusual price activity

KUALA LUMPUR: Iskandar Waterfront City Bhd (IWC) has been queried by Bursa Malaysia over its unusual price movements recently. IWC shares rose from a high of RM2.45 to a low of RM1.70 yesterday, presumably on news about its major shareholder Iskandar Waterfront Holdings Sdn Bhd’s involvement in Bandar Malaysia project. IWC shares dropped seven per cent to RM1.98 and was the most active stock with 272 million shares traded yesterday.
