Duo patch up after minor scuffle

-

PUTRAJAYA: The National Transformation 2050 (TN50) dialogue session between Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and entertainment players became tense when a minor scuffle broke out between producer David Teo and comedian Sulaiman Yassin.

It happened when Teo was seen quite harsh in addressing the crowd before the prime minister.

He questioned actor Datuk Rosyam Nor who was moderating the dialogue because he failed to see those seated behind the stage.

The programme aired live via Facebook Live, saw Rosyam asking Teo to calm down as his behaviour could be seen as disrespectful to the prime minister.

Rosyam asked Teo to share his views and Teo shared his poem. However, before he could finish, Sulaiman, also known as Mat Over, stood up and headed towards Teo when things got physical.

The security personnel pulled them apart and the dialogue session continued as scheduled.

At the end of the dialogue, Rosyam called on the two to reconcile.

The prime minister was seen standing up and gesturing to the duo to make up. The duo apologised to each other and shook hands before Najib.
