BURSA Malaysia ended slightly higher yes­ter­day in cau­tious trad­ing yes­ter­day.

The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) ended at the in­tra­day’s high of 1,774.95, up 6.67 points from Fri­day’s close of 1,768.28.

Mar­ket breadth was pos­i­tive, with gain­ers led losers 542 to 420 with 374 coun­ters un­changed, 413 un­traded and 20 sus­pended.

Vol­ume rose to 4.10 bil­lion units val­ued at RM2.95 bil­lion from the 3.27 bil­lion units val­ued at RM3.24 bil­lion last Fri­day.

For heavy­weights, TNB and Petronas Chem­i­cals added two sen each to RM13.80 and RM7.35, re­spec­tively and Public Bank rose 10 sen to RM20.10.

Of the ac­tives, Key Al­liance Group added half-a-sen at 4.5 sen, AirAsia X rose two sen to 53 sen , while Key Al­liance was flat at 2.5 sen. Ber­nama
