Malaysian and Lebanese delights for Ramadan

In gearing up for the Ramadan month, its culinary team, lead by Executive Sous Chef Alias has been busy preparing a list of sumptuous dishes for the buffet.

The prepared list features tantalising popular local Malaysian dishes.

This year’s theme was created to promote a host of popular Malay and Malaysian dishes including favourite family recipes of our grandparents and parents, as well as recipes from our villages.

Also in the line-up are the popular “hawker” style recipes as well as those from various states of Malaysia.

The highlights of the buffet are the live cooking stations and hawker stalls with different popular local dishes, seafood on ice, live grill and barbecue items among others.

To add for more sumptuous varieties on the buffet, the hotel has invited Guest Chef Ammar to showcase his signature Arabic and Lebanese dishes.

The items prepared by Chef Ammar will add a touch of Middle Eastern flavours to the local spread.

Chef Ammar, an expert in Arabic and Lebanese cuisines will be lining up a series of his signature dishes for the buffet.

Interesting highlights are Chef Ammar’s specialties at the action stalls which include Roasted Spicy Whole Lamb with Mandi Rice and Cream Mint, Roasted Spicy Whole Lamb with Kabsah Spice Cream Sauce, Roasted Spicy Whole Lamb with Herbal Rice, and a range of salad and cold appetisers; Hummus Beiruty and dessert such as an assortment of mixed Baklava and rice puddings.

For guests who wish to perform their Maghrib, Isyak and Tarawih prayers, separate male and female prayer rooms are also available.

The Ramadan buffet dinner is available between 6.30pm and 10.30pm. It is priced at RM125nett per adult and RM60nett for children aged 11 years old and below.

It is available from May 29 to June 23.
