Felda appoints 3 more directors

KUALA LUMPUR: The Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) has appointed three more directors to its board in efforts to restore faith of stakeholders, especially settlers.

They are Malaysian Palm Oil board director-general Dr Ahmad Kushairi Din, Felda woman settlers icon Ramlah Jailani and former general manager Datuk Zulkifli Wahab.

With the appointment of the three, Felda now has 12 directors.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said in a statement Felda had approved of their appointments.

Felda chairman Tan Sri Shahrir Abdul Samad reportedly said that regaining support from the people, especially at the grassroot level, was critical.
