Adabi, Media Prima-NSTP distribute ‘bubur lambuk’ to staff
Media PrimaNew Straits Times Press distributed 2,000 containers to its staff for the breaking of fast at its headquarters here yesterday.
The programme, carried out in collaboration with Adabi Consumer Industries Sdn Bhd, started with cooking the traditional porridge at the headquarters’ driveway.
NSTP corporate communications head Wan Abdillah Wan Nawi said the programme was part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives in the fasting month.
“This is our fifth year collaborating with Adabi to cook and distribute the porridge during Ramadan.
“The distribution was not only among the staff, but also to the community nearby.”
Adabi president Adrian Roslan said the collaboration was a way to show the company’s gratitude to Media Prima staff and the media.
“We have been taking part in CSR initiatives under Media Prima-NSTP and our contribution in preparing the porridge is one of our ways to say thank you to the media.”
