Ad­abi, Me­dia Prima-NSTP dis­trib­ute ‘bubur lam­buk’ to staff

Me­dia Pri­maNew Straits Times Press dis­trib­uted 2,000 con­tain­ers to its staff for the break­ing of fast at its head­quar­ters here yes­ter­day.

The pro­gramme, car­ried out in col­lab­o­ra­tion with Ad­abi Con­sumer In­dus­tries Sdn Bhd, started with cook­ing the tra­di­tional por­ridge at the head­quar­ters’ drive­way.

NSTP cor­po­rate com­mu­ni­ca­tions head Wan Ab­dil­lah Wan Nawi said the pro­gramme was part of the com­pany’s cor­po­rate so­cial re­spon­si­bil­ity (CSR) ini­tia­tives in the fast­ing month.

“This is our fifth year col­lab­o­rat­ing with Ad­abi to cook and dis­trib­ute the por­ridge dur­ing Ra­madan.

“The dis­tri­bu­tion was not only among the staff, but also to the com­mu­nity nearby.”

Ad­abi pres­i­dent Adrian Roslan said the col­lab­o­ra­tion was a way to show the com­pany’s grat­i­tude to Me­dia Prima staff and the me­dia.

“We have been tak­ing part in CSR ini­tia­tives un­der Me­dia Prima-NSTP and our con­tri­bu­tion in pre­par­ing the por­ridge is one of our ways to say thank you to the me­dia.”
