Since is getting so much hype thanks to Ayda’s reputation, some may assume that the less popular Redza is only riding on her wave of fame.

“I have been in the industry for years, but I started from the bottom. I worked behind the scenes, as an extra, as a supporting cast member and now I’m playing the lead,” he said, adding that he had to work very hard.

“People are free to say whatever they want but I know I deserve this role,” said Redza of which also stars Julia Farhana, Fizz Fairuz and Razak Ahmad.

NEW ROLES

Last month, Ayda and Redza were appointed as ambassador­s for tonton, replacing actors Saharul Ridzwan and Mia Ahmad.

Recently, it was revealed that the two stars were also ambassador­s for TV3 and TV9’s campaign this year, alongside Elfira Loy, Mira Filzah and Zaquan Adha.

This is Ayda and Redza’s first time as ambassador­s and they will be participat­ing in various activities such as and

Redza agrees. “In a year, we spend most of our time filming, so this holy month is the perfect time for helping those in need,” he said.

“This is also a platform for us both to promote which is a great strategy to talk to the public in person,” said Ayda.
