More than just a Hari Raya bazaar

-

SHAH ALAM: The Fiesta Muslimah BH 2017 (FMBH’17) is more than a Hari Raya bazaar as it offers health and beauty products as well as household needs to visitors.

Jolie Scarves founder Sabrina Bolivar said the variety of businesses at the event allowed her to shop for her family’s needs for Hari Raya.

The 28-year-old said the event was very well organised and allowed visitors to visit the booths in an orderly manner.

“Usually, other bazaars and carnivals are too crowded, making it hard for visitors to take their time to shop.

“But here, everything is a breeze,” she said.

At her booth, she said, there are satin, chiffon and silk scarves as well as custom-made Terengganu batik baju kurung.

With her Terengganu and French parentage, Bolivar said the designs were of premium quality, and priced between RM30 and RM150.

“The bazaar is the perfect place for families to do their Hari Raya shopping and save money at the same time.

“Apart from beautiful garments, visitors can also find household items such as food containers and decorations, like wooden crafts, as well as soaps and beauty products.

“There is also a breast cancer awareness booth,” she said.

She said performances by artistes Wany Hasrita and Mawi also enlivened the event.

Cosmetic company Cantik Dara Sdn Bhd founder Datin Nurul Sayang Rahmat said products at her booth were made from natural ingredients and had been approved by the Health Ministry.

“All our products use natural ingredients such as fruit extracts, while our lipsticks have argan oil and vitamin E,” she said, adding that the event provided a good platform for her to reach out to customers.

FMBH’17, which started on Friday at the Shah Alam Convention Centre here, ends today.
