Aizat has a great friend, partner in Fattah
SINGER and songwriter Aizat Amdan has a big task ahead of him.
Following the success of their collaborative hits Wanita Terakhir and Cinderella, performed by Fattah Amin and composed by Aizat, the composer is takon ing the responsibility to help Fattah with his vocals, and ultimately his singing career.
Both singles went on to top the local iTunes chart this year. Wanita Terakhir was released in January, while Cinderella, the theme song for the hit teledrama vision series Hero Seorang Cinderella, was released early this month.
“Fattah has a lot of potential. “And, as a friend, I will guide him as best I can,” said Aizat, who finds Fattah professional and dedbreeze icated.
“It’s a working with him, especially since he is a very downindividual. to-earth We clicked right from the start, and there was never a feeling of awkwardness between us.
“What started out as a professional relationship has developed into a great friendship,” he said at TV3 and TV9’s programme screening for Hari Raya Aidilfitri at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur recently.
Aizat, 28, said as Fattah was at the peak of his career, he would need positive people around him to motivate him further.
The Akademi Fantasia Season 5 alum said their collaboration would continue till year end.
“I will be composing more songs for Fattah, besides working on other music projects that have been planned for us.
“When the time comes, I’ll let Fattah do the honours of sharing the news with everyone.”
On Fattah’s singles reaching No. 1 on the local iTunes chart, Aizat said: “It’s humbling and surprising because we were competing against international artistes like Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber.
“I have a good team that works hard to provide quality songs for Fattah. And, it helps that his fans are supportive,” said Aizat.
On another note, Aizat said he would be releasing several songs of his own soon, while keeping himself busy creating content for his production company, Lokalab. By Syahirah Mokhtazar
