Paremiswary Suppiah: I was shocked to see the matter on TV last night. Is Malaysia producing more murderers? Or are we teaching the younger generation to take the law into their own hands?

Leo Jack: I saw my seniors being expelled over some photograph during their final semester. They had to start over at other university. The difference here is that nobody died in my seniors’ case and it was their private photo, their private lives. But this one is a way bigger crime than that and they are allowed to roam free and continue with their studies? I am speechless.

Chew Hk: Our universities are very interesting. Those who appeared in peace rallies can get suspended and miss their semester. But some involved with a criminal case can resume their studies.
