World Cup will give Rory and Keen Hoo chance to prepare for title defence

RORY Thor and Moh Keen Hoo will represent Malaysia in the prestigious Snooker World Cup (team competition) in Wuxi, China on July 3-9. They are using the tournament to iron out weaknesses before they defend their singles and doubles gold medals at the Kuala Lumpur Sea Games in August.
Malaysia will open their Group A campaign against Brazil on July 3, followed by Wales (July 4), Norway (July 5), Finland (July 6) and defending champions China ‘B (July 7).
Each tie in the group stage will comprise four singles matches and one doubles.
A point is awarded to each frame won in the tie. Only the top two teams from each of the four groups will advance to the quarter-finals.
In the 2015 edition also in Wuxi, Malaysia, who were represented by Rory and Reza Azman, finished last in Group B with five points.
