AT the launch of the new Philips AllIn-One Pressure Cooker recently, guest chefs showed how easy it was to prepare traditional recipes that would otherwise have daunted many. Now you can impress your family and friends with your culinary skills. They’d never guess how little time you actually spend in the kitchen.

Even when a recipe calls for hours of slow cooking time, you just have to set the appliance and go to work, go shopping, take a nap or work out in the gym. There’s also no need to stand at the stove to keep stirring.

The All-In-One Pressure Cooker has eight function buttons that allow you to slow cook or pressure cook as well as saute, sear, bake, reheat and warm up your meals.

The pressure cook function comes with options for cooking and steaming, so you can prepare dishes from soup, risotto and rice, to meat and poultry, as well as bake cakes.

Chefs Marina Mustafa prepared Beef Rendang and Chef Jovin Lee made Lamb Shank Korma. You too can try the recipes on this page.

The Philips All-in-One Pressure Cooker retails for RM799.
