Thong Guan launches first Marché Mövenpick franchise at Pavilion Mall

KUALA LUMPUR: Thong Guan Industries Bhd has ventured into the restaurant industry with the launch of its maiden Marché Mövenpick franchise at Pavilion Mall, here.

Marché is a global company with Swiss roots, which develops innovative culinary solutions with the Interactiv­e European marketplac­e ambiance and market cuisine evolved with a modern twist.

The brand focused on maximum freshness, quality and taste through its live cooking station using fresh and quality ingredient­s, said Thong Guan in a statement yesterday.

“Marché classics are the crunchy salad and crisp Swiss rösti. In addition, the restaurant offers an array of other European treats as well as delicious meat from the grill, freshly caught seafood, refined focaccia sandwiches, sweet and savoury crêpes, and homemade baked goods like irresistib­le Belgian waffles.

“This delightful assortment is completed by a wide selection of fresh juices, coffee, teas and other refreshing beverages,” said the company.

Thong Guan executive director Alvin Ang said it would consider opening other interestin­g concept stores that Marché Mövenpick offered.

“Our F&B division has always been a steady contributo­r to the group, we expect this new venture to further increase the division’s profitabil­ity,” he added.
