Thong Guan launches first Marché Möven­pick fran­chise at Pavil­ion Mall

KUALA LUMPUR: Thong Guan In­dus­tries Bhd has ven­tured into the restau­rant in­dus­try with the launch of its maiden Marché Möven­pick fran­chise at Pavil­ion Mall, here.

Marché is a global com­pany with Swiss roots, which de­vel­ops in­no­va­tive culi­nary so­lu­tions with the In­ter­ac­tive Euro­pean mar­ket­place am­biance and mar­ket cui­sine evolved with a mod­ern twist.

The brand fo­cused on max­i­mum fresh­ness, qual­ity and taste through its live cook­ing sta­tion us­ing fresh and qual­ity in­gre­di­ents, said Thong Guan in a state­ment yes­ter­day.

“Marché clas­sics are the crunchy salad and crisp Swiss rösti. In ad­di­tion, the restau­rant of­fers an ar­ray of other Euro­pean treats as well as de­li­cious meat from the grill, freshly caught seafood, re­fined fo­cac­cia sand­wiches, sweet and savoury crêpes, and home­made baked goods like ir­re­sistible Bel­gian waf­fles.

“This de­light­ful as­sort­ment is com­pleted by a wide se­lec­tion of fresh juices, cof­fee, teas and other re­fresh­ing bev­er­ages,” said the com­pany.

Thong Guan ex­ec­u­tive direc­tor Alvin Ang said it would con­sider open­ing other in­ter­est­ing con­cept stores that Marché Möven­pick of­fered.

“Our F&B di­vi­sion has al­ways been a steady con­trib­u­tor to the group, we ex­pect this new ven­ture to fur­ther in­crease the di­vi­sion’s prof­itabil­ity,” he added.
