CI hear­ing on Tues­day

PUTRAJAYA: The Com­mis­sion of In­quiry (CI) will hold its first hear­ing on Bank Ne­gara Malaysia’s for­eign ex­change losses in the 1990s at the Court of Ap­peals, Palace of Jus­tice, here on Tues­day. Pro­ceed­ings are open to the pub­lic.

Set up in line with the Com­mis­sion of En­quiry Act 1950 [Act 119], it has re­ceived the con­sent of Yang di-Per­tuan Agong Sul­tan Muham­mad V. The panel mem­bers are Petro­liam Na­sional Bhd chair­man Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Has­san, High Court judge Datuk Ka­maludin Md Said, Bursa Malaysia Bhd chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer Datuk Seri Ta­jud­din Atan, Spe­cial Task Force to Fa­cil­i­tate Busi­ness co-chair­man Tan Sri Saw Choo Boon, Malaysian In­sti­tute of Ac­coun­tants mem­ber K.
