Pandikar Amin launches book on TN50
A BOOK on Transformasi Nasional 2050 (TN50) was launched at the Dewan Rakyat yesterday.
Titled Dasar Buku Negara dan TN50: Perjuangan Yang Perlu ,it was launched by Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia.
The book was compiled by Sungai Besar member of parliament (MP) Tuan Budiman Mohd Zohdi.
Budiman said he hoped the book, published by Malaysian Institute of Translations and Book, would be a reference for Malaysians to better understand the TN50 policy.
“The National Book Policy has been referred to since the 1980s and it needs to be updated to be more inclusive and aligned with the digital age while gaining the public’s interest to read,” he said.
Pandikar, in congratulating Budiman, said by publishing the book, the MP did a great service to Malaysians and fellow elected representatives in the Dewan.
“It’s not easy to debate and write but he did it,” Pandikar said during the launch, which was attended by Johor Baru MP Tan Sri Shahrir Abdul Samad.
The book retails at RM20 each.
