Young, fresh and daring

Singer and rapper Radio3000 tells Amalina Kamal about gaining as many cultural experiences as possible through music

-

Growing up, I was raised around people with different

backgrounds, Asia is quite exciting.

I want to learn too just as much as I’m teaching — producing a Malay or a hybrid record where we can meet the styles of both worlds is something I am looking at. In fact, there is a record coming out soon with DeFam so

that should be interesting.

My style is true to my identity — it’s young, fresh and daring. I’m not scared to jump between genres like

(newly released track with Hunny Madu) to a ballad. That is why I go by the name Radio3000 — when you turn the radio on, you hear different vibes and that is how

I am as an artiste.
