Given the rise of new super structures in addressing innovation and creativity into the governance of organisations or institutions, UNIRAZAK, through the 5th Global Waqf Conference will organise a conference on in Pekanbaru, Indonesia, from Oct 16 to18.
The conference is co-organised by the International Centre for Waqf Research of the International Islamic University Malaysia. The purpose of the conference is to extend the frontiers of new developments and initiatives.
These are assisted by new thoughts and ideas, embarking in the pursuit of transformation and management of a sustainable socio-economic path for Muslim nations and communities across the globe. These initiatives shall follow into beefing up UNIRAZAK’s Islamic Finance programmes.
The conference is a series of conferences that UNIRAZAK had previously conducted in locations such as Malaysia, Turkey, Russia and the United Kingdom.
New frontiers of in the contemporary space and time will be discussed at the conference in Pekanbaru. Themed "Global Waqf Gateway: Bridging the Waqf Agenda for Nusantara", it envisaged the target attainment for a value driven economic pursuit in fostering a New Economy alternative and to boost Muslim unity and partnership with citizens and stakeholders.
The objective of developing a Global Waqf Development Gateway is to drive the transformation of the economic and social integration with the global economy towards a new era of prosperity, happiness and governance of justice, fairness in wealth generation asset management and distribution in society.
