CRF250L and CRF250 Rally ready for Malaysian market

Siew Honda Sdn Bhd (BSH) has introduced the new 2017 CRF250L and CRF250 Rally cater to two-wheel enthusiast­s of lightweigh­t adventure bikes.

Both motorcycle­s are powered by a 249cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC engine that has more bottomend torque and high rpm power, with linear delivery while achieving EURO4-compliance.

Peak power of 24.4hp is delivered at 8,500rpm with peak torque of 22.6Nm arriving at 6,750rpm from a revised PGM-FI and throttle body plus a new airbox and lightweigh­t exhaust.

The The CRF250L is a small capacity all-rounder.

The CRF250 RALLY uses the CRF250L as its base, and adds a wide range of changes that make it a unique propositio­n to the market.

The styling inspiratio­n draws on the HRC CRF450 RALLY race machine.

Up front, the ‘floating’ screen, fairing and radiator shrouds provide wind protection, with the rest of the machine showing off minimal MX style.

The headlight is a compact, asymmetric dual LED unit while the rear light, LED indicators and number plate bracket are tucked discreetly away.

The CRF250 RALLY comes finished in Honda’s Extreme Red racing colour as a base, with black and white accents inspired by the HRC factory machines.

The new CRF250L and CRF250 Rally is now available in Honda dealer showrooms, priced at RM24,378.94 for CRF250L and RM28,618.94 for CRF250 Rally respective­ly.

Prices include GST but exclude road tax, insurance and registrati­on.

The model comes with two years or 20,000km manufactur­ing warranty (whichever comes first).
