ACTRESS and singer Nur Fazura Sharifuddin excitedly announced that she will soon get back into the recording studio with an international artiste.

“Alhamdulillah, I’ve just received news that I’ll be recording another duet with an international star soon,” the 34-year-old singer told media recently.

Although Fazura could not reveal who the singer was yet, she said the project would take off soon as the song would be included in her upcoming album.

“Since we’re intending to release my debut album in November, recording would have to begin quite soon,” said Fazura.

The collaboration, she said, had been realised by Universal Music Malaysia, the music label to which she had signed on for a 360 talent management deal last February.

Fazura revealed this at an event organised by Maydan, a local beauty product brand, which had chosen her to be its brand ambassador for one of its product lines.

The upcoming collaboration with a foreign artiste will not be the first for Fazura. Earlier, she had recorded a duet number with Ridho Rhoma from Indonesia for Bulan Terbelah Di Langit Amerika, and another with Filipino Jason Dy for Nothing Like Pag-ibig.

Fazura had also in the past recorded a duet with the Malaysian band Estranged for Hancur Aku and with her co-star Fattah Amin for the number Cinderella, which was the soundtrack for the drama that had the two playing the lead roles earlier this year.
