COLE HAAN’S new collection of light GrandPr¯ Tennis shoes are sure to lighten up your game. A dual gender collection, it is the contemporary expression of vintage tennis. It utilises proprietary Grand.ÿS technology, a modern operating system designed to reduce weight, mimic the foot’s natural flexibility and provide responsive cushioning throughout the course of your daily adventures.
With a focus on lightness and re-engineered with the insights of athletic footwear for on-the-go living without sacrificing elegance or refinement, GrandPr¯ delivers a spin on a classic silhouette.
Weighing in at just 158.7g, the women’s GrandPr¯ is nearly half the weight of the ordinary court shoe (based on women’s size 6), while the men’s, at 249g, is one third less than the average leather court shoe (based on men’s size 8.5).
The new collection is available in six styles: GrandPr¯ Tennis Sneaker, GrandPr¯ Tennis Stitchlite, GrandPr¯ Velcro Sneaker, GrandPr¯ Paisley Perforated Tennis Sneaker, GrandPr¯ Tennis Slip On and GrandPr¯PaisleyPerforatedSlip On.
Among the highlights of the new collection is the limited edition GrandPr¯ Tennis Grand Slam designed in conjunction with the Glam Slam tennis tournaments.
Collaborated with JackThreads, the limited edition GrandPr¯ Tennis Grand Slam comes in two unique designs inspired by the prestigious Glam Slam tournaments for the French Open and the US Open. The two designs pay homage to the unique highlights of the two countries.
GrandPr¯ Tennis Grand Slam for French Open features cork footbed, inspired by the popular wine cork of the French while the interior lining of the shoe reflects the outdoor wicker seating seen at most Parisian cafes.
GrandPr¯ Tennis Grand Slam for the US Open features anthrecite leather upper with some metallic touches, taking inspiration from the concrete buildings in New York city. Cole Haan GrandPr¯.
