IGP: Sultan was a great leader
KUALA LUMPUR: Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun expressed his condolences to the Kedah royal family over the passing of Sultan of Kedah Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah.
Fuzi said he prayed that Sultan Abdul Halim’s soul be blessed and placed among the pious.
“We in the police force would like to express our condolences to the Kedah royalty over the passing of Sultan of Kedah Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah on Sept 11, 2017 at Istana Anak Bukit, Alor Star, Kedah.”
He said Sultan Abdul Halim’s passing was a great loss to the people and the country.
“The sultan was a great ruler and the people’s leader.
“Police are here to help in any way we can to ensure that the funeral rites are conducted smoothly.”
