Malaysians treated to King of Fruits

WASHINGTON, DC: A group of Malaysians who turned up at the Malaysian embassy here to meet Datuk Seri Najib Razak got a rare treat — Musang King durian.

Some 25 boxes of the King of Fruits were served at the dinner function hosted by ambassador to the US Tan Sri Zulhasnan Rafique, much to the delight of the guests.

The rich-tasting fruits were lapped up in no time as it was difficult to get in the US.

The fruits, sponsored by the Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Ministry, were specially flown in for the function to fete the Malaysians living and studying in the US.
