WHAT’S IN VAPORMAX THAT MAKES IT SUITED FOR RUNNING?

Its revolutionary Max Air unit doubles up as the midsole and the outsole of the footwear.

The lightweight and durable flyknit upper is soft, flexible but also study enough to facilitate running.

WHAT’S THE RECOMMENDED MILEAGE?

It depends on how well the shoe is taken care of. If it’s well taken care, it can last longer and vice versa.

HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM

OTHER NIKE RUNNING SHOES?

Throughout the process of creating this shoe, there have been a lot of people — elite runners, testers, the air innovation team and the inline running team — who played a major role in bringing the performance of this shoe to life.

The breakthrough comes through creating an air-cushioning system that puts air only where you need it and eliminates everything else in-between.

Previous Air units were pre-shaped to The new VaporMax is the first footwear to feature an Air unit as a standalone outsole.

conform to the foam midsole and rubber outsole as well as having to be insulated by a secondary rubber layer for protection and improved durability.

This caused a tightly-controlled air unit that was then glued and layered with the remaining components.

The innovation allows designers to incorporate the Air and exterior layer into an air cushioning system. Where previous units needed to be shaped with inflexible structural areas, the new system can independently maintain its given form with elasticity.

WHAT CAN RUNNERS EXPECT WHEN THEY RUN IN THIS SHOE?

The Air sits directly under their feet — this is the first time we have achieved this sensation. Also, to run in the lightest Air Max footwear ever, achieved through the VaporMax footwear.

WHAT FOOT TYPE IS IT SUITABLE FOR?

All foot types.
