TODAY marks the beginning of the Islamic New Year, Awal Muharram 1439H, and there are plenty of shows from various TV channels for all to enjoy.

WHAT’S ON TV ALHIJRAH

On TV Alhijrah (HyppTV and Astro Channel 114), today at 7.30am, catch

The casual talk show, hosted by Prof Dr Taufik Yap Yun Hin and Syafiq Raffiqin Liow, features a variety of dakwah stories and experiences of people who have chosen the Islamic way of life.

In this episode, she talks about balancing and developing a career and family, as well as other instances that will inspire viewers.

Children can check out at 5.30pm. The animated series highlights moralistic tales from the Al-Quran and hadiths that are easily digestible for children in the form of pearls of wisdom and through songs.
