Vizione unit bags RM465m construction contract
KUALA LUMPUR: Vizione Holdings Bhd’s wholly-owned unit Wira Syukur (M) Sdn Bhd has secured a RM465 million construction contract from Hektar Aneka Sdn Bhd.
In a statement yesterday, the company said the contract was for the construction of five blocks of the Federal Territories Affordable Homes Programme and 14 shoplots in Setapak.
“The construction will take about 40 months from its scheduled commencement this month and is targeted for completion by February 2021,” it said.
The group said the contract would further increase and enhance its existing order book and was expected to contribute positively to earnings for the next four financial years.
Vizione has just completed its acquisition of Wira Syukur.
It said 976.2 million of its new ordinary shares, which were issued as part of the consideration for the acquisition, were listed and quoted on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd yesterday.
“We are delighted that the acquisition of Wira Syukur is now complete, and we look forward to strong financial contributions from this newly acquired subsidiary”, said managing director Datuk Ng Aun Hooi.
