Everyday’s a bonus with Shell and Bonuslink

- Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd and BonusKad Loyalty Sdn Bhd (Bonuslink) have jointly kicked-off the contest, which runs from Oct 8 to Jan 7.

KUALA

The contest aims to reward customers for their loyalty and support. One customer a day will receive a RM5,000 prize by swiping his Bonuslink card while refuelling at Shell stations nationwide.

Shell Malaysia Trading retail marketing head Ben Mahmud said global data company Nielsen had conducted a survey early this year, and found that Malaysia had one of the lowest consumer confidence ratings in Southeast Asia.

“Nielsen’s survey found that Malaysians are focused on building their savings and cutting down on indulgences by going on fewer holidays, spending less on new clothes, new technology, home imration provement and out-of-home entertainment,” said Ben.

He said the survey was the inspi- to hold the

contest.

“The contest is one way to reward our customers and help them to end the year on a high note.”

Bonuslink general manager Victor Goon said winners of the contest would also receive 50,000 Bonuslink points if they swiped their cards at another Bonuslink partner within the same month.

“This is another exciting campaign with Shell, aimed squarely at our members, giving them a chance to win cash and Bonuslink points. It ties in very well with our slogan ‘Everyday’s a Bonus’ because there are daily prizes up for grabs.”

To participate, customers need to swipe their Bonuslink cards and pump a minimum of RM30 worth of petrol or diesel at Shell stations.

Bonuslink will select one winner a day for the RM5,000 prize. The selection begins on Oct 7 and winners will be announced from Oct 16 onwards.
