PLAYMAKER Natxo Insa is ready to do whatever it takes to ensure Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) bring home the Malaysia Cup for the first time when they play Kedah in the decider at the Shah Alam Stadium on Saturday.

However, the Spain-born player, who has received Malaysian citizenship, admitted that he feels tired after what has been a long year.

Insa, who is also the elder brother of Pahang utility man Kiko, helped Levante secure promotion from the Spanish Segunda Division before joining JDT in June.

Insa said winning the final would mean a lot to him.

“I need to rest, I have played roughly 55 games so far this year (with Levante and JDT) but this is the final and I will give every bit of energy I have in the game,” said Insa.

“I just want to be focused and end the season well. I know it will be a tough match, our chances are 50-50 but we are confident.

“I want to enjoy this final, we have a chance to win two cups this season and we want to celebrate our success with the fans.

“We should not be scared, we have good players.”

Insa, who has declared himself ready to represent Malaysia next season, has made a big impact since joining JDT midway through the Super League season, as the team won the Super League this year.

JDT coach Ulisses Morais has made it clear that he is not worried by the minor injuries suffered by Mohammad Ghaddar, Ahmad Hazwan Bakri, Junior Eldstal and Gary Steven Robbat.

Morais said he has other options availble if they are not fit for the final.

“I am still evaluating the players and have yet to decide on the first 11. We will select the players who are at a good fitness level, have the desire and good mental strength,” said Morais.

“All our players have good quality and are capable of doing a good job in the final. The players are also looking very eager to play.

“We have 29 players and I believe in all of them.”

Morais said he has studied Kedah's strengths and weaknesses and has formulated a strategy to ensure that JDT emerge victorious on Saturday.

I want to enjoy this final, we have a chance to win two cups this season and we want to celebrate our success with the fans.
