Maya Sri Sanha: Some say poverty could be the reason for the mother prostituting her daughters. I beg to differ. I’m sure there are many out there who have been through very difficult situations but they have not resorted to selling their children. There are many ways to make a living no matter how tough it is without destroying a child’s life.

Akma Zaidi: This woman deserves the lengthy jail sentence. While other women wished for and could not experience the joy of motherhood, this one threw it all away by pimping her children. She has destroyed their trust, innocence and selfworth. My prayers go to the daughters.

Syafidzah Noh: Not everyone can have the privilege to be a mother and this woman has abused hers. How could she subject her daughters to this? How would they recover from this living nightmare and what kind of life would they lead now? I just can’t stomach this.

Wong Mei Yong: She escaped being caned because she’s a woman? That’s preposterous after what she did to her daughters! I see the jail time as nothing more than having her food and lodging taken care of for the next 75 years while her daughters will carry the scars for the rest of their lives.
