SEGi University & Colleges was established in 1977 as Systematic College in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, offering professional qualifications.
Since its founding four decades ago, SEGi has undergone significant growth, strengthening the quality of its wide range of programmes from certificate, diploma and foundation studies up to doctorate level.
It is one of the most established private higher education institutions in Malaysia, with its flagship campus in Kota Damansara, and four other campuses in Subang Jaya, Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Kuching.

It provides exposure for students to try something new — to develop new skills, meet new people and also pursue their hobbies, and such is the case for Jazlin Zakri.
The Year 1 student in Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in English and Public Relations had recently participated in SEGi’s annual singing competition, SEGi Idol 2017. Academically, Jazlin described her learning experience as eye-opening.
“There's always a balance of what you will learn in each semester. Whether or not you lean towards English or Public Relations, each subject will offer knowledge that is useful for each field.”
She said her classmates were fun and her involvement in extracurricular events had also given her new experiences and helped her prepare for the real world.
With a student population of 25,000 across all campuses, there is always a hive of activities, including cultural, social, sporting and recreational activities all year round.
