Taise Sunway bags RM139.8m contract

KUALA LUMPUR: Sunway Construction Group Bhd (SunCon), via its joint-venture (JV) company Taisei Sunway, has bagged a contract worth RM139.83 million from Nippon Express (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd to undertake the design and build works for a new warehouse in Shah Alam. Taise Sunway is an unincorporated JV formed between TAISEI Corp and Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd (SCSB), a subsidiary of SunCon. SunCon said TAISEI and SCSB would have an equal proposed equity ratio of 50:50. It said the 22month project was expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2019.
