THE alumni of Sekolah Seri Puteri held its annual Battle of the Batches Bowling Tournament 2017 at Wangsa Bowl, IOI City Mall, Putrajaya recently. Themed Wild Wild West, 148 players in 37 teams from 18 batches competed for prizes in various categories. Teams with the most senior were from Batch 1979 and most juniors from Batch 2009. Team Bowl & Gincu from Batch 1989 won first prize, scoring 1,595 points in total from the three games played during the tournament.

The top three bowlers with the highest scores were Azlenda Amir (449 points), Datin Tengku Soraya Tengku Nerang Putra (437) and Fatin Diana Ahmad Subkhi (437).

An Instagram contest which had been organised a few weeks prior to the tournament added to the excitement.

At the end of the tournament, prizes were given to the Best Dressed Team, First Strike and Highest Score by Puteri president Mastura Ma’sud and vice-president Azlina Jamaluddin.
