SJIS students get best scores for paper

-

ST. John’s International School (SJIS) once again secured a top spot in Malay Language for the recent International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) June 2017 examinations.

Two of its students secured the best scores. This achievement adds on to SJIS’s illustrious track record and shows that it produces students with excellent results.

SJIS would like to congratulate Isaac Lee Kian Min and Isabelle Lim Ning who successfully mastered the Malay Language. They will be awarded at a Prestigious Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards Ceremony, Malaysia, which will be held on Nov 27.

Both Lee and Lim wish to convey their gratitude and acknowledgement to the school, especially to their Malay Language teachers for being instrumental in their success. They also recorded their appreciation for the full support given by their parents, teachers and the school in their studies and examinations.

The duo are of the opinion that other students should take up the IGCSE Malay Language subject, and they think that these students can do equally well in the subject as SJIS provides the best possible conducive learning environment.

The awards are accorded to exceptional achievers in Cambridge examinations.

Prior to this, SJIS has been accorded Top in Malaysia for the IGCSE May-June 2016 examination for the Malay Language subject.

Pavindran, a non-Malay student by descent had demonstrated an excellent mastery of the Malay Language due to the coaching and guidance of the teachers at SJIS.

SJIS is committed in achieving it vision and mission to be a leader in providing a firstclass, holistic education in a stimulating learning environment.

The school is supported by a team of dedicated teachers. SJIS’s Malay language teachers use in-house designed books that cater to the IGCSE and Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia needs. They provide custom differentiation learning for students to match their pace and level.
