Johorean strikes RM33m jackpot with RM6 bet

-

KUALA LUMPUR: A 40-year-old man from Johor walked away with RM33,014,106 when his number hit the Magnum 4D Jackpot 1st prize on Nov 5.

This was the highest payout in the history of Magnum 4D Jackpot, with the previous record being RM31,232,687.11, in 2011.

“These are my dream numbers which I play frequently. Sometimes I’ll change numbers every three months just to try my luck with new numbers,” said the jackpot winner, who wanted to remain anonymous.

He said with just RM6 for a System Bet 3, he won Jackpot One, with two of his 4D numbers matching two of the top three prizes of the Magnum 4D result.

“The two lucky numbers that brought me fortune were 2346 (first prize) and 7233 (second prize number),” he said.

When asked if he knew that he won the highest jackpot prize in Magnum 4D Jackpot history, he said: “Yes, I did. I checked the results via the Magnum mobile app and I have been playing almost every week since 2012.

“I’m very familiar with Magnum 4D’s games and always follow updates through my mobile phone. I also play Magnum’s popular 4D Jackpot Gold too,” he said.

He said despite winning the jackpot, he would still continue to work.

“I love my job, and my employers treat me well. I do not have many family members, but I have many friends,” he said.

He was so excited that he could not sleep for two nights thinking of what he would do with his newfound fortune.

“I would like to spend wisely and continue to enjoy my life.

“I will definitely continue to play Magnum 4D because there is always a chance to win if you play.”
