GUAVAPASS, a fitness and lifestyle platform, is making way into the local market with a new twist to fitness.

It introduces the concept of subscribin­g to one platform with many fitness clubs, gyms, exercise classes that one can use throughout the region and the Middle East.

“This means people can have access to gyms, fitness clubs and exercise classes at most of major cities in the region when they travell,” says GuavaPass’ general manager, China and Malaysia, Diane Chia.

A fitness buff herself, Chia says since its launch in early 2015, GuavaPass has granted users access to over 100,000 premium fitness classes at over 2,000 boutique studios across 11 global cities, such as Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Beijing, Dubai, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Seoul, Shanghai and Singapore.

“The platform (www.guavapass.com) offers subscriber­s a diverse range of fitness exercises, from the regular gym style fitness to niche ones like boxing, yoga, pilates, cycling, bootcamp, parkour and more,” she says, adding that GuavaPass is looking at young executives who are into healthy and fitnss lifestyle

“This would enable members to try new types of exercise or just stick to their regular ones,” she adds.

Currently, GuavaPass has 19 studios in Kuala Lumpur under its platform, such as Firestatio­n, F45, YogaOneTha­tIWant, Fuel Athletics, Be Urban Wellness and KOA Fitness.

“Given the increasing appetite for unique fitness classes, we’re excited to provide a premium and unique solution to empower Malaysians to come together as a community and make a healthier change to their daily lifestyle,” says Chia.

According to her, subscriber­s can see the classes and schedule and locations of the fitness studios through the webste and app.

For example, if you’re using the GuavaPass app, you just need to browse through classes on your iOS or Android app, and click on a class that you want to book, and click on the “Reserve Class” button to confirm.

“We want to make it as easy and flexible as possible for you to fit a workout into your schedule. Registrati­on typically opens for classes 10 days in advance so you can plan ahead for your week’s worth of GuavaGlow. You can also book up to one hour before most classes start,” says Chia.

The GuavaPass membership options start from RM89 per month, ranging from Class Packages to Unlimited membership­s, flexible pause and cancellati­on options, GuavaPass makes a healthy lifestyle accessible to everyone.
