EXPANDING FOOTPRINT
TH Properties Sdn Bhd, the property arm of Tabung Haji, is exploring opportunities in the London and Jakarta residential property markets. It is now in the midst of identifying the right partners, says group managing director Datuk Roszali Othman.
LONDON: TH Properties Sdn Bhd won the “Best New International Hotel Design and Construction Award” at the International Property Awards 2017-2018, here, yesterday.
The award was for its TH Hotel and Convention Centre (THHCC) Kuching in Sarawak.
TH Properties also bagged the “Asia Pacific Best Newest Hotel Design and Construction Awards”.
In May, TH Properties won three awards at the Asia Pacific Real Estate Awards in Bangkok.
The awards were “Best New Malaysia Hotel Building and Design Award” for THHCC Kuching, “Best Australian Apartments Award” for Bay Pavilions in Sydney and “Best Office Building Award” for the Putrajaya Islamic Complex.
TH Properties group managing director Datuk Roszali Othman said the latest awards were the highest international recognition the company had received so far.
He said the awards had recognised the group’s commitment to innovation, high quality and the ability to implement the project well.
The THHCC Kuching, which has a facade based on the “Pua Kumbu” and Borneo island, will be completed in April next year.
Once completed, it will have 237 rooms, nine conference rooms and a convention hall that can accommodate 1,090 people.
Roszali also said the international recognition would be a catalyst for TH Properties to further penetrate the local and international real estate market.
The International Property Awards focuses on the quality of design, construction and delivery of individual property projects and property development, architecture and marketing. Mahanum Abdul Aziz
