FCW SEES GOOD TAKE-UP FOR RIANA DUTAMAS
Developers set to launch Phase 1 in January next year
PROPERTY developer FCW Holdings Bhd sees a good take-up rate for its Riana Dutamas development as it prepares to launch Phase 1 of the project in January next year.
Riana Dutamas is undertaken by 368 Segambut Sdn Bhd, an equal joint venture between FCW Holdings and IJM Land. It has a gross development value of RM565 million.
“This development in North Kiara with IJM Land has very good potential,” said FCW Holdings executive director Anderson Thor Poh Seng.
“Prospective buyers would be interested in Riana Dutamas’ affordability, location, convenience and value,” he said after the company’s shareholders’ meeting, here, yesterday. Also present was FCW Holdings chairman Tan Sri Tan Hua Choon.
Riana Dutamas is a 13.68ha freehold development near major upmarket neighbourhoods, such as Mont’ Kiara, Dutamas and Sri Hartamas.
Thor said Riana Dutamas Phase 1 would feature a 36-storey tower with 1,018 residential units and five levels of parking bays.
With built-ups ranging from 653 to 1,177 sq ft, with units of one, two and three bedrooms. The selling price of each unit starts from RM350,000.
Future residents of Riana Dutamas would be heartened by the convenience of surrounding amenities, such as Publika Hartamas Shopping Centre, Garden International School, Mont’ Kiara International School, Le Lychee Francais International School and Sentul International School.
Currently, FCW also derives income from the contract manufacturing of cosmetics, skincare and toiletries such as shampoo and body wash for mid-tier brand names.
Thor said the group’s associate company’s factory in Balakong would automate processes wherever possible to further save on costs.
About FCW’s first-quarter loss of RM534,000 ended September, Thor said the dismal results was dragged by associate companies, Fujikura Federal Cables Sdn Bhd
