MAKEBLOCK has just the tool for budding programmers. The smart robot known as Codey Rocky comes with cutting-edge technologies such as AI (Artificial Intelligence) and IoT (Internet of Things), for beginner coders aged 6 and above. It is the perfect platform for children to pick up the many basics of programming such as Scratch 3.0, Python and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics).

Using the graphical programming app known as mBlock 5, Codey Rocky can be coded and controlled. The set will arrive with a detachable programming console named Codey, and an add-on car named Rocky which will help bring Codey around.

The robot sports an integrated graphical programming software, with over 10 programmable electronic modules (built-in LED display, volume and light sensors, speakers, infrared receivers and emitters, and a six-axis gyroscope, among others) that should be more than enough to keep children occupied for a long time.

Users can also write code for Codey Rocky through more advanced Python. The expressive LED display is able to display expression, the time, weather and even personal messages, making it extremely versatile. We also like the fact that coding is taught through a drag-and-drag visual programming manner, and there are over 20 learning guides available to get started from scratch with constant updates provided. Each basic Codey Rocky pack will comprise of a Codey, a Rocky and a solitary Bluetooth dongle.
