KULAI PLAYGROUND DANGER FOR KIDS

-

THE children’s playground in Hutan Bandar Putra Kulai has become dangerous to visitors as most of the equipment is falling apart.

A Netizen, with the moniker Iman Aiman, has uploaded photographs of the damaged equipment at the playground to warn others of the danger.

Posted on a Kulai community Facebook page, he warned parents not to allow their children to enter the playground.

“Danger! Hope this gets the attention of the Kulai Municipal

Council,” he wrote.

His photos featured several of the playground equipment, including the poor condition of tube slides and swings with seats coming loose from the metal chain.

Another photo featured a badly corroded metal part of an equipment.

ACTIONLINE:

Kulai Municipal Council public relations officer Halim Ridaudin Abd Manap said the maintenance and repair of equipment at the playground would be carried out by early next month.

“The maintenance, including sprucing up the playground, will begin next year as the council has set aside funds under our 2018 budget.”

However, Halim Ridaudin said remedial work for minor damage on the equipment, such as new paint and fixing the broken swings, would be done immediately.
