T7 WINS JOBS WORTH RM260m
Subsidiaries TOS and Wenmax secure multiple contracts from MHB, Repsol, Sabah Shell and Petronas unit
T7 Global Bhd, via its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Tanjung Offshore Services Sdn Bhd (TOS) and Wenmax Sdn Bhd, has won contracts worth RM260 million.
In a statement yesterday, T7 chairman Datuk Seri Dr Nik Norzul Thani N. Hassan Thani said the contracts reflected the group’s commitment to project execution and delivery that were critical in the upstream oil and gas sector.
T7 said TOS received a service order from Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Sdn Bhd (MHB) to carry out insulation work for the Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development Package 14 Project.
TOS was also awarded a contract by Repsol Oil & Gas Malaysia Ltd on November 9 last year to provide blasting and painting services for two years, tentatively from November last year to October 2019, with an option for a one-year extension.
Repsol had also awarded two additional contracts to Wenmax — a four-plus-four-year contract on December 7 last year for the supply of carbon dioxide gas separation membrane elements and consumables and a one-off supply contract on December 11 last year for the provision of mercury removal unit (MRU) absorbent materials for gas MRU field trial.
Wenmax also secured a purchase order from Sabah Shell Petroleum Company Ltd on September 13 last year, a partial order from a five-plus-one-year price agreement contract for the supply of single buoy mooring hoses until 2019.
The company had also won a contract from Petronas Technical Services Sdn Bhd on August 14 last year for engineering, procurement, fabrication and commissioning of crude transfer metering system package for the Pengerang Deepwater Terminal 2.
“These contracts are a testament to the strong partnership we have with the parties.
“We are making good progress in replenishing our work orders and we are optimistic of building up our order book and are actively bidding for projects,” he added. Bernama
