OSK PROPERTY PLANS 3 RESIDENTIAL LAUNCHES
PETALING JAYA: OSK Property Holdings Bhd will launch three residential projects this year with gross development value (GDV) totalling RM4.82 billion.
Its chief executive officer, Ong Ghee Bin, said the three projects are Ryan & Miho, here, Iringan Bayu in Seremban and Hika in Cheras.
Ryan & Miho and Iringan Bayu, with GDV of RM756 million and RM3.6 billion, respectively, will be launched in the first quarter of this year while Hika will be launched in the second half of this year.
“We would like to offer new projects at strategic and mature locations equipped with a variety of facilities.
“So, these three new projects are timely for those who are looking for their first home,” he said after the launch of “OSK Campaign 20188”, here, yesterday.
Ryan & Miho, which has 1,084 units, is located in the heart of Section 13 and has a bridge linking to Jaya One.
Iringan Bayu is a 311.61ha residential area and has a green park landscape called Verdant Central Park. A total of 761 units of houses are offered in its first phase.
Hika is located in You City and is a serviced apartment with a connection to the Taman Suntex mass rapid transit station.
On the prospects of the property sector this year, Ong said property development will re- main flat. For the first few months, there will be uncertainty in the market given the expectation of a general election, he added. However it will recover after that.
“The public is still cautious in this period and at the same time, location factors are also a concern among buyers.”
OSK Property has about 1,578.27ha landbank with an estimated GDV of RM8 billion.
Among the projects being developed by the company are Luminari (Butterworth), Windmill Upon Hills (Genting Permai), Bandar Puteri Jaya (Sungai Petani) and Emira (Shah Alam).
The 20188 campaign offers home ownership without upfront fees and an opportunity to win up to RM20,188.
Ong said the campaign ends on March 31 for OSK Porperty’s 12 projects in the country.
The campaign also offers waiver of legal fees for sale and purchase agreements as well as loans.
“Through interactions with customers and the public, we are aware that buyers face high cost of downpayment.
“We hope that this campaign will become a platform for easy home ownership and investment,” he said yesterday. Zarina Zakariah
