MB: Johor’s development plans practical, realistic

PASIR GUDANG: Johor’s development plans are practical and realistic, not mere empty promises.

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said the New Decade of Johor was formulated by the state government following an in-depth research and a practical projection, unlike certain parties that lacked ideas on how to develop a state.

“That is why we plan for 10 years, because we do not want it to be too long. I plan based on what is pragmatic and realistic with an accurate projection.

“I want to assure the people of Johor that we will develop the state so that everyone will have the best future.”

He said this at the opening of the SMK Datuk Penggawa Timur’s Parent-Teacher Association annual general meeting here.

Khaled also announced a RM100,000 allocation for the school’s development.

Present was Pasir Gudang member of parliament Normala Abdul Samad.

He said certain parties had made their presence felt in Johor and wanted only to blame the government, but did not have any plans to develop the state.

“There are many people who come to Johor, but do they have any plans? They don’t. They only know how to say that this is wrong or that is wrong.

“What are their plans to ensure that our youth do not have to go to the Klang Valley to secure a future? Johor has a lot of opportunities. That is what we want to do.”
