GAMER’S MOUSE

-

IF you are one who loves to meddle around with mouse hardware settings by adjusting the weight based on the different genre of games that you play, then you should check out the SteelSeries Rival 600 gaming mouse.

Sporting the revolutionary new TrueMove3+ dual sensor system, it boasts a primary sensor (the TrueMove3) and a second optical sensor that is meant to track lift-off distance. This makes it one of the most accurate sensors available in the market, while offering virtually an unlimited number of physical and technical customisation options.

No longer do you have to suffer from the possibilities of jitter and cursor disparity when it comes to liftoff movements, while boasting of the lowest lift-off distance in the market. There are also customisable weight and balance options that offers up to 256 different combinations. The caveat would be the design: its weights are located on the sides for the gamer to adjust throughout the body of the mouse, to keep its centre of gravity balanced depending on the grip and gameplay style.

It tips the scales at just 96 grammes without weights, and will be accompanied by eight 4g weights right out of the box.

It also features a reinforced trigger system that is rated to last for up to 60 million clicks. On the outside are pure silicone grips and an ultra-durable soft touch finish while underneath the hood, a powerful 32-bit ARM processor that enables gamers to save different configurations such as CPI settings, button remappings and macros and lighting effects.

The only drawback about this US$79.99 (RM316) gaming mouse is that it has been manufactured especially for right-handed gamers, so southpaws have to give this a miss.
