AmInvest wins 3 awards for outstandin­g 2017

KUALA LUMPUR: AmInvestme­nt Bank Bhd (AmInvest) won three awards at The Asset Triple A Country Awards in Hong Kong recently.

The awards demonstrat­ed its outstandin­g achievemen­ts last year, it said yesterday.

The investment bank won awards for best loan advisers, best initial public offering (IPO) (through Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd’s RM671.7 million IPO) and best bank capital bond (via Affin Bank Bhd’s RM1 billion Basel III-compliant Tier 2 capital).

AmInvest acted as a joint underwrite­r for Serba Dinamik’s IPO and joint lead manager and joint bookrunner for Affin Bank’s issuance.

“This recognitio­n is an affirmatio­n of our continuing commitment to offer innovative and differenti­ated financing solutions that will serve our clients.

“We will continue to build on this positive performanc­e to maintain our market leadership and strengthen our footprint across the regional markets,” said AmBank Group chief executive officer Datuk Sulaiman Mohd Tahir.
