Transtellar 2018 in KL today

Dutch DJ Ferry Corsten is set to give music lovers an out-of-this-world experience at today’s Transtellar 2018.

The 44-year-old record producer from Rotterdam, known for tracks like Gouryella, Out Of The Blue, Cry and I’m In Love, has been active in the electronic dance music scene since 1989 and has released 10 albums.

Working under multiple aliases, including System F, Moonman, Pulp Victim and Gouryella, Corsten has won several awards, such as the Best Trance DJ at the 2005 and 2007 DJ Awards.

Corsten will be joined by three other international DJs, John O’Callaghan, Standerwick and LTN at Transtellar 2018.

Dubbed the “Thematic Sci-Fi Experience”, the i naugural trance music festival, organised by Hybrid Entertainment, will feature a plethora of stunning visuals and lighting effects.

Also performing are local acts Master Ariffin, Boris Foong, Ramsey Westwood, Chukiess & Whackboi, Sherry Alyssa and JORL.

The event is expected to start at 3pm today at the Malaysia In- ternational Trade and Exhibition Centre in Kuala Lumpur. It will carry on till late, followed by an after party at the Fuze Club KL.
