NEW HONDA ODYSSEY OPEN FOR BOOKING

HONDA Malaysia Sdn Bhd, the largest nonnationa­l carmaker, has launched the new Honda Odyssey with a price tag of RM254,800 excluding insurance.

The company aims to sell 130 units of the new Odyssey this year.

The multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) is equipped with Honda SENSING, which consists of six features, namely forward collision warning, collision mitigation braking system, lane departure warning, road departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist system.

To elevate the safety benchmark in Malaysia’s MPV segment, the new Odyssey is fitted with premium safety features such as the multi-view camera system, smart parking assist system, blind spot informatio­n, crosstraff­ic monitoring and six airbags.

Powering the new Odyssey is a 2.4-litre DOHC i-VTEC Earth Dreams Technology engine mated to a continuous variable transmissi­on.

It is equipped with LED tail lights, LED fog lights, 17-inch dual tone alloy wheel, auto retractabl­e door mirror, auto dimming rear view mirror, captain cradle seats with ottoman on the second row and ultra-low floor platform.

The new Odyssey is open for booking at all 93 Honda dealers nationwide. It will take about three months to be delivered with the first batch expected to arrive next month.

Available in platinum white pearl, premium twinkle black pearl and super platinum metallic, it is covered with a five-year unlimited mileage warranty with a service interval of 10,000km.
