POLICE have yet to receive any reports related to an alleged disturbance case involving the teen daughters of Philippine superstar Ruffa Gutierrez at a theme park in Subang, which occurred on Thursday.

Subang Jaya district police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Azlin Sadari said they had yet to be notified of the incident.

“No report was lodged by the victim,” he said.

Gutierrez, who is an actress and former Miss World 2013 runner-up, had on social media claimed that her daughters, Lorin Gabriella, 15 and Venice Bektas, 14, were harassed by a group of men at the theme park.

She had claimed that the men had made lewd comments and even snapped their photos with their smartphones.

An ABS-CBN News Manila report had quoted Gutierrez as claiming that she was buying food when the incident occurred.

“My friend and I were buying food while my daughters were off to ride a roller coaster.

“My daughters ran back to me in tears, saying that they were harassed by several ‘old men’, who also snapped their photos,” she explained in her Instagram and Twitter accounts.

She tweeted that the theme park should not have let “creepy men” inside the park.

She later uploaded a photo of herself and her daughters, with the caption “You mess with them, you mess with me.”

Gutierrez said she had to seek help from the theme park’s security guards to escort them to their vehicle as she feared for their safety.

The theme park has since apologised to her via Twitter. Gutierrez later said she would not let this incident make her generalise Malaysians and that she would return one day.
