- Goh Thean Howe

Malaysia Sdn Bhd has announced that the premium White Orchid Pearl colour will replace the Taffeta White colour for the Jazz, City, BR-V and HR-V.

The company first introduced the premium colour in the Civic CKD model, followed by the Accord in 2016.

“Since its introduction for both models, the new colour has received positive response from customers and to date, the premium colour contributed 38 per cent for Civic and 33 per cent for the Accord of its respective overall sales.

“Following the increasing demand of the White Orchid Pearl colour, the CR-V was then introduced with the premium colour last year and has attained 26 per cent overall CR-V sales to date,” Honda Malaysia said in a statement.

It said based on an internal survey, the results showed that the White Orchid Pearl colour was popular.

“In our effort to provide the joy of owning a Honda to our customers, we continuously seek feedback from our customers on what they look for. Therefore, the introduction of the premium colour is now made available for the entire Honda Malaysia line-up as a result of the customers’ feedback,” said Honda Malaysia.

The waiting period for the four models are expected to be between one to two months. The surcharge for the new White Orchid Pearl colour is RM120 for Jazz and City petrol variants, while the surcharge for BR-V and H-RV is at RM300. The premium colour for the BR-V and HR-V is expected to be available in the third week of February.

Customers can visit any of the 93 Honda authorised dealers nationwide to view this latest colour and to place a booking.
