AFTER 12 years in the entertainment industry, actor-singer-TV host Alif Satar is honoured to be hosting his very own talk show. And while he juggles an acting schedule as well, the 27-year-old artiste is helming his weekly talk show on ntv7 called It’s Alif! The show, which premiered on March 6, airs live every Tuesday at 9.30pm.

“I am honoured by the opportunity. It’s just... wow,” says Alif, who has signed up for three consecutive seasons, in all, 39 episodes.

Aliff adds: “At 9.30pm, viewers want to sit back and relax, enjoying the rest of the evening with family at home. With the new branding for ntv7, which aims to cater to the modern Malaysian TV viewers, the show is light, but packed with entertaining features.

“It’s a programme which discusses everything under the sun. We don’t want rocket science at this hour.”

“I want guests to share their back stories, rather than ask them the usual such as ‘what are you doing now?’ etc.

“I want them to share inspiring stories or things which viewers can easily relate to. My objective is to make people clamour to appear on the show.”
